These are brand new bags of high-quality clays; price includes firing fees and glaze supply costs. This product is available for purchase by studio members only.

    • Laguna B-Mix 5 is similar to Highwater's Little Loafers. Delicate and soft with no grog, it fires snow white.
    • Standard Brown Clay with Specks #112 is similar to HIghwater's Red Rock. Fires light brown with pronounced speckling, giving beautiful effects with many glazes. Perfect for all around throwing and good for beginners.
    • Standard Buff Stoneware #553 is similar to Highwater's Ellen Buff. A very versatile throwing and handbuilding clay. Cone 6 shrinkage 10.5% and absorption 1.25%.
    • Standard Creamy White Stoneware #563 Smooth vitreous stoneware body. Contains no fire clay. Good for hand-building and throwing. Cone 6 Shrinkage 14.0% Absorption 1.0%
    • Standard Brooklyn Red #308 is very groggy. Good for throwing big, throwing outdoor pieces, or for regular work. Stays red and keeps texture after firing. Creates dramatic effects in glazes. Cone 6 shrinkage 12.5% and absorption 2%.
    • Standard Grey Stoneware #201 is similar to Bella's blend. It's an all-purpose plastic clay with a fine grog. When fired at Cone 6, it achieves a light gray color in oxidation. This clay has an average shrinkage of 16% and average absorption of 2.5%.
    • Standard 266G A very dark chocolate brown clay. Glazes will be different on this clay, but it will bring exiting variety to your work. Gives a reduction-like dark brown color in an electric kiln. Smooth and plastic. Contains manganese and a small amount of fine grog is added. It’s good for all techniques. We recommend firing to cone 5. Cone 6 Shrinkage 11.5% Absorption 1.0%
