The Y Craft Fair goes Virtual!
We are thrilled to announce that the 51st Annual Y Craft Fair will still take place, but as a virtual online event so as to reduce the potential of COVID-19 exposure.
Although we won’t be gathering in person, we are planning to still provide a celebration of the things that make the Y Craft Fair so special – arts, crafts, great gifts, community – but, to do so without holding a large festival where so many people gather close together.
We are extremely excited at the immense potential we have to grow our Craft Fair in this online format, giving us the opportunity to promote our event locally, regionally, and even nationally.
As always, our focus for the Craft Fair is still to raise funds to support the mission of the YMCA at Virginia Tech, which is such an important organization to our community especially during this global crisis.
During the week of November 16-20, 2020, we will host a variety of ways to support our vendors, coming together, virtually, as a community. We will set up a virtual artist market to shop through, food vendors to order from, streaming content such as live music, and more!
We believe that with your help, we can lessen the impact of coronavirus on our community and on our mission of providing essential services to our community such as our food insecurity initiatives. Thank you for your support during this challenging time for all of us.
