The YMCA Thrift Shop is open and following strict guidelines:
- Limiting all in-person shopping to no more than 10 patrons at a time
- adhering to social distancing recommendations
- sanitizing common surfaces
- applying relevant workplace guidance from state and federal authorities.
We are accepting donations at the back dock following a specific safety procedure:
Do not be offended if nobody meets you at the back dock for your donations- we're social distancing. Please leave your donations on or near the tables provided or in the truck if raining.
Rest assured that your donations will be gratefully accepted and carefully processed once you leave the area.
Our staff are using gloves when handling donations and increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing for all common areas.
The donations will be moved to an area to be quarantined for 5 days before processing following VDH regulations and guidelines.
We are informing our employees and encouraging them to keep themselves safe by frequently washing their hands and staying home if they are sick.
We will update you when any changes are made to our current operating schedule.
At this time we have suspended pick ups and deliveries. Please call to schedule pick ups for a future date.
We appreciate your continued support.
