A weekly gathering of women from all over the world, including the USA, for friendship, information, education, support, and service. We gather for tea, coffee and snacks along with learning a new craft, trying a recipe together, or taking a field trip. All women are welcome.
Meetings for international women who want to learn about living in Blacksburg, VA and join a local community of other international women. Meetings include a lot of different activities and support for everyone who wishes to be a part of the group.
The primary meeting takes place at the Y Center (1000 North Main Street):
Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. with Dina (the Y’s International Programs coordinator)

A weekly gathering of women from all over the world, including the USA, for friendship, information, education, support, and service. We gather for tea, coffee and snacks along with learning a new craft, trying a recipe together, or taking a field trip. All women are welcome.
Meetings for international women who want to learn about living in Blacksburg, VA and join a local community of other international women. Meetings include a lot of different activities and support for everyone who wishes to be a part of the group.
The primary meeting takes place at the Y Center (1000 North Main Street):
Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. with Dina (the Y’s International Programs coordinator)

A weekly gathering of women from all over the world, including the USA, for friendship, information, education, support, and service. We gather for tea, coffee and snacks along with learning a new craft, trying a recipe together, or taking a field trip. All women are welcome.
Meetings for international women who want to learn about living in Blacksburg, VA and join a local community of other international women. Meetings include a lot of different activities and support for everyone who wishes to be a part of the group.
The primary meeting takes place at the Y Center (1000 North Main Street):
Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. with Dina (the Y’s International Programs coordinator)

English Conversation Groups will practice speaking English and understanding spoken English in conversation. We will use our discussions to explore the topics that will help you enjoy your time in Blacksburg like where to hike, restaurants, or holiday activities. These topics will also allow you to share about your life and home cultures. During the pandemic, we will have Zoom meetings with occasional opportunities to meet in person.
